You're going to have to do better than that. There are two bands in there I've actually heard of.

Really? Radiohead and who else?

Well, Terry's doing better than me. I can't even tell whether the band name is the first one listed or the last one. It could be either: "Did you hear that new 45 by Malignant Narcissism?" "No, I was too busy listening to Rush."

I mean honestly.

And I just realized, as I pushed send, that I chose two at random from Chainsaw's list, but the Teel's list isn't any better. "Depth Charge Ethel is my favoritest group EVAR!" "Really, I like the Caliopes!"

And so on and so forth.

Hm, either Mark and Yeffy are slipping or I'm getting better. I recognized MIA, The Veils, The New Pornographers, The National, Aesop Rock, and Radiohead. I did even better on Yeffy's - the only 2 I don't recognize are Ted Leo and The Format.

Yeah, mine was a bit more mainstream this year for whatever reason.

Um, relatively speaking of course.

Eager to hear Petey's list!

AND I might add - Malignant Narcissism may be the best song title ever.
