Meet The Family
While visiting with Matt over July 4th weekend, I told him about my current project, a graphic novel titled The Incredibly True Adventures Of A Colorblind Art Teacher: A Work In Progress. Yes, I'm still hard-at-work on That Baby, but this comic is something that I've been working on, when not up to my neck in crayoned baby drawings.
These six panels make up the first page of the book. For those of you who have followed my drawings over the past two decades, you'll see that the Eliminator has a different "look" to him. It's time to come out of the shadows, old man.

Unfortunately, that looks just like me. Good job!
I can't wait to read it.

The Eliminator was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the picture. I have fond memories of the shadowy Eliminator of yore and will be sad to see him go.
I don't know how to tell you this, but Matt is no longer a priest. (Bet you didn't know that?) Love the comic! Keep it coming.
Hasn't that been for awhile now? For some reason I want to say I knew that last Thanksgiving. Stupid memory!
How come you don't tell it honestly? The Eliminator, prior to retirement, ORDERED people to buy his cars. He was quite successful.

That's true, Mama, but it's "as of this writing," and Mark's been working on this for a while.
BTW, Mark, I meant to say that I love the picture of Baby Audrey. She looks hilarious. And David likes cheese sticks too!

Actually, I've only been working on it this summer. But I said he was a priest, due to the contents of the story. It's all based in reality, but it's mostly past. And there's no reason to explain that Matt is no longer a priest. I could say that he used to be a priest and now teaches Philosophy for a college, but all it would do is add an unnecessary explanation that really has no effect on anything else going on.
I love the drawings! I'm looking forward to start collecting books by Mark Teel in our new library.
I have been telling Marcello about your books in progress. I can't wait to buy them for him!
